How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your TickerNews account and all associated data through two methods:

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account:

• Open the TickerNews app
• Go to the Profile tab (bottom navigation)
• Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
• Confirm deletion in the two confirmation dialogs
• Your account and all data will be permanently deleted immediately

Method 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email:

• Send an email to info@tickernews.live
• Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
• Include the email address associated with your TickerNews account
• We will process your request within 48 hours

What Data Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, all of the following data is permanently removed:

• Your account information (name, email, password)
• Company selection preferences
• All bookmarked articles
• Notification history
• News cache and reading preferences
• Feedback submissions

Confirmation

After successful deletion:

• You will receive a confirmation email at your registered email address
• You will be logged out of the app
• You can create a new account anytime with the same or a different email
